Potions and elixirs are consumable items.
Drinking a potion
- Swig ([1AP]): roll the potion’s effect.
- Full drink ([2AP]): the potion gives its maximum roll.
(From the appendix of the Master Document V01.)
Healing potions
| Potion | Healing | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Potion of Minor Healing | 1d4 + 1 / AP | 50 gp |
| Potion of Moderate Healing | 2d4 + 2 / AP | 250 gp |
| Potion of Greater Healing | 3d4 + 5 / AP | 750 gp |
| Potion of Superior Healing | 5d4 + 10 / AP | 2,000 gp |
| Potion of Supreme Healing | 8d4 + 15 / AP | 25,000 gp |
Check the numbers
- ”/ AP” is written after every healing amount. It probably means “per Action Point spent drinking”, which would combine with the swig rule above. Confirm.
- The price jumps from 2,000 gp to 25,000 gp for the last step, while earlier steps roughly triple. 25,000 may be a typo for 2,500 or 5,000.
- Money and item prices depend on the wealth system, which isn’t written yet (see Equipment).
