Berserker subclass. For some berserkers, the chaos and thrill of battle is pure ecstasy.

Probably the same subclass as “Blood Frenzy” / “Bloodfrenzy” in the Class Roles lists.

Tier 1

  • Reckless Frenzy. Each time you reckless attack while raging, you gain an additional point of fury, and you deal extra damage equal to your fury score to the first target you hit on your turn with a Might-based attack.
  • Blood Frenzy. Your rage effects inflict bleed damage.
  • Furious Finish [1AP]. Make an attack. If it hits, you gain a damage bonus equal to the number of rounds remaining in your rage (maximum 10). Your rage then ends immediately, and you’re fatigued until you rest for 10 minutes.
  • No Escape [Reaction]. (Requirement: an enemy within reach tries to move away from you.) Move up to your speed, following the enemy and keeping it within reach as best you can, until it stops moving or you’ve moved your full speed. You can use No Escape to burrow, climb, fly or swim if you have that movement type.
  • Wounded Rage [Reaction]. (Trigger: you take damage and can enter a rage.) You enter a rage.
  • Armored Assault. While wearing armor, when you charge into a creature you can make an attack. On a hit, you deal an additional 1d4 damage.
  • (Name TBD). Whenever you deal piercing damage, you deal an additional 1d4 bleeding damage.
  • Bloodrage Vigor. When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points with an attack, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Resolve score.

Tier 2

  • Mindless Rage. You’re immune to the charmed and frightened conditions while raging. If you’re charmed or frightened when you enter a rage, the condition ends.
  • Crimson Vial. While raging, whenever you deal bleeding damage, you can heal for that amount instead.
  • Reckless Abandon. When you reckless attack while raging, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Might score. They vanish when your rage ends.
  • Follow Through [1AP]. (Requirement: you missed with your last attack.) Make a strike with the same weapon, adding the backswing and forceful traits.

Tier 3

  • Retaliation. When a creature within 5 feet of you damages you, you can use your reaction to make one melee attack against it.
  • Path of the Beast feature. Placeholder.
  • Blood Drunk. While bloodied, your critical threat range increases by 1. Under 25% health, it increases by 2.

Tier 4

  • Intimidating Presence [2AP]. At the expense of a rage, each creature of your choice within 30 feet (60 feet if you’re raging) that is aware of you and not behind total cover must make a Resolve test (TV 12 + your Might modifier). On a failure, it’s frightened for 1 minute. Frightened creatures take an additional 4 damage.
  • Bloodlust. Not written yet.
  • (Name TBD). While raging, if a creature within 5 feet hits you with a melee attack, it takes 3 bludgeoning damage (piercing if you’re wearing spiked armor).
